I had some extra time to work in the shop today and decided to attempt to customize a Vic Soldier. With caution, I fitted it into the mill and removed the heads from the pins that hold the knife together and then disassembled the knife. I made some handle templates from the Alox handles and milled out a set of Carbon Fiber handles. Once that task was completed I then assembled the whole concoction together with hardened stainless pins. I like it as the CF handles add a stylish flair to the soldier. I'll carry this one a while and see how it holds up. Let me know what you think about this creation.
