This year's SOSAK Mod Competition was pretty fierce and while there were only four entries, there were some fantastic and imaginative  mods done.  I won't say which one I voted for because to be honest, I wanted them all to win.  A huge thank you goes out to all members who participated, and also to all members who supported the competition by voting for their favorites, and placing bids on some of the most unique SAKS available.

What has this got to do with the collection highlights?  Simple, this month's highlight is my very own prize from the great competition, the SAK  known as Johnny Cash.  The SAK in Black is striking at first glance with the black as night ebony wood scales, accented by exposed brass rivets.  This is a black scaled SAK lover's dream, but it goes much further than that.

A quick glance at the blade on this one shows that it's not standard- the partial serrations certainly are obvious, but what may not have been obvious from the pictures is that these serrations are hand ground which is indicative of the effort this modder put into it.

Johnny Cash is my kind of knife, and one I'll be happy to walk the line with!
